The Homestead still stands. After Hurricane Irma, we are a little worse for wear but we are still here.
We took up our drone to get an aerial view of what happened.
Thankfully, we had cut down a huge water oak that hung over our house.
I’m convinced we had a small Tornado or that the eye of Irma crossed right over us.
We lost many of our larger trees and plants.
The back side of the property is flooded.
The pigs fared ok and were unharmed.
Our truck though, was not as lucky.
Flood in the back acre.
We also have some new quests showing up on the Homestead including this beautiful Indigo snake. He likes long walks on the beach and munching on Moccasin Stew, so for now he can stay.
Still no power, almost a week after but holding strong and very Thankful none of us were hurt.
Hope everyone fared well in the storm!
