This weekend we took a walk in the rain to explore how the Homestead is doing.
Rain is very important to our Homestead, living in Florida, we are quite dependent on the aquifer.
We’ve been giving a lot of thought to our water and water resources this Spring on the Homestead, especially on the heals of the Florida Sinkhole at Mosaic Site Leaking Radioactive Water into our aquifer.
Although we are well outside what was declared to be the “affected area” we decided to get our water tested as well, and although it has been found we are not affected by the Mosaic Radioactivity we still have some unusual findings to content with.
The landscape is finally starting to look green and refreshed.
What kinds of things do you do to conserve water?
